Botak Jones and Yun
Botak Jones, That day I discovered a new Botak Jones outlet somewhere near my school…woo..so decide to go eat it after my class.

Ok, the pricing is considered slightly higher than usual for its authentic style of food. I took Cajun chicken since I like to eat chicken lean meat. It was great why? The service was super good, while i was queueing, they were like very polite: " Sir do u wan a menu", " Sir this is chilli", " Sir is there any problem with your food, if there is, u can tell me". It was superb service i shld say. Overall, the lamb chop was great, my cajun was great. I love the mustard sauce nonetheless.
Then, XJ msg came, where is the botak jones in the west area? I was shocked…I replied " How come u know i ate botak jones just now?" It was just mere concidence, ahaha, he actually saw my previous post stating abt Botak, so he asked. Just so nice, tat fine day, i went to Botak Jones.
Backed. I just woke up now, 4.45pm. On my fav songs and It somehow jus remind me of why I like cpop so much.
Upon a time,……
I started to like chinese songs when I heard Emil Chow "Ai Xiang Shui" and I just like him while my friends are like Jeff Chang. Then it was chinese new year i remember, heard over radio Daniel Chan "流星‧森林‧雨 " Not only do i like the song, I like the voice. Watching the Xin guang da dao show, I begin to notice, many contestants, in fact many singers now, sounded like the very first singer that brought you to sing songs? I went to hear vincy, claire, jin lun…all of them sounded like their idol, not completely but i mean the baseline. Like myself, i like daniel chan’s voice, and unknowingly, many say i sound like him…..
This song brings me memories : 愛你躲你, where I always sing in KTV w my sec sch friends and went to auditions with jz ..This song…ahahha, still remember once at stage with this song…wahhahaha….gross. It was the silly and unrealistic me, wasting my time.
Then this song suddenly reminds me of the old days: 流星‧森林‧雨 . Oh, my sec sch days were tiring but super fun particularly for me cos I can be counted as the most high profile student at that point of time. My friend told me, in school, out of 10 people, 7 know you. Maybe cos always up in the stage as MC or do IT its me by controlling the pc or gh or my gang of friends. Indeed, I know many ppl from sec sch from all walks of life. Let me mention 1st, it jus sparkle abt of my memories where myself, huiting and cheryl, siew keng and gh behind class singing song together…We do duet in class le….boy vs girls..tat small grp behind the class. We were like a cluster..ahahhaha, and we were famous for tat cos seems like many ppl know abt it from other class.
We just do duet together and the very famous song was " Ni zui zhen gui" Me and Huiting..wahhahaha, still remember once a male teacher come and join us for duet. There isn’t a KTV competition in school, if not i guess we joined.wahahaha. After school, it was like a boy gang mixed again.All our usual boy gang were just gathered and wait and we were just go to the kopi tiam near school to feast. The food there is very nice and till now i frequent there always. We eat and afterwards is Basketball. Everyday we eat and play after school, sometimes crash ppl house for PS and sometimes hide and seek. We played until sweat in our uniform and everyone always is so tired after it. But those were the days. I guess my sec sch days were like hyped up and more fun than my peers cos not only do i know them, huiting they all and i begin to know ppl from other class….i guess knowing qh was like great. We movie, she taught me how to buy things, she is just socialable and love to say cold jokes….knowing her bring out and train me somehow to be confident. My relationship with her is a nice and fufilling one.
Later on, sec 3, it was my greatest moment. As a prefect at tat time, i had to do duties. My duty was to guard the main gate. I love to guard the main gate. Cos our main gate, u can sit down and read ur own stuff and my main gate is never cold. Always there are ppl who come to talk to me. Sometimes its the qh’s gang, sometimes is my once very closed friend and almost lover ,Yun, and always is the boy’s gang of my class. Sometimes i want them to get lost, ahahahha, I was talking to Yun and we always cherish the short time we have to chat and talk, then the boy’s gang came to disturb. wahahaha. Even Auntie came to talk to me. I talk to everyone, but when it was time when Yun will come, i will say in my heart " pls can we talk next time to the auntie". The auntie enjoys talking to me a lot, she always talk to me and she came everyday, means me and yun have little time to talk…the bell rings, auntie gone, yun also have to go back. Then the time is for me to eat with gh they all… We like to eat after recess…hahah no need to queue, and we the prefect like the big leaders or wad..wad we wanna do, just do…At the sec sch days, we can do whatever we like…but we were a good bunch.
Me and Yun always exchange gifts…and I have many gifts from her tat I still keep except for one tat is broken. A tube filled with water, with a block encraved "Dennis and Yun Forever friend". It was a pendant…Have u guys watch DOU YU? It was the pendant tat was given to xiao yan zhi….it wasn’t the same pendant but has the same meaning. We were downright super closed friend. We trusted one another for life and she is the one whom i know i will defend her if anyone bullies her. Once, the head prefect at tat year was pissed cos yun got our support and add oil and chilli abt yun to teachers…I wanted to help yun since i knew many teachers and they all trusted me totally, so it isn’t hard for me to help her. But she said forget it. Such a pure girl and it is a rare gem and I had it once in my treasure. Until the day when i got her sms, she says we come out after exam and I forget to transfer her number when i change mobile and my army busy schedule drew us very far.
Wadeva it is, she still is my fond memories and remains a very big part now in my sec school days even though many happy moments but my moment with her still is the most unforgetable one. Hope to rekindle tat moment again. My best youth moment is with Yun. I even remember I taught her how to cycle, and we lie down under the coconut tree to talk… it was romantic. I still have and kept it like treasure of a pic with me and her.. I was clad in my NCC uniform. and a nail print…..wish her very best. I may one day post the nail print but the photo of me and her is only for our eyes.wahhaha
Time to brush my teeth. Sec sch peeps, i am interested to see ur post on the past abt our sec sch days..ahahhaha.
